Babylon 5 Starfury Circa 1998
This limited edition Revell kit was released at the height of the Babylon 5 TV show. The 1/72 scale kit is a plastic copy of the digital model space fighters used in the series. The colour scheme is a custom one, based on my first 1/6 scale radio controlled P-47 Thunderbolt. It was built pretty much out of the box, except for replacing the ugly grey plastic stand with a clear acrylic version. The Starfury is seen superimposed over some of my own astrophotography images.
