March 9th The 2026 season has begun. On the 5th, I took the Jeep out for it's first run of the year. See the Event Photos page. |

October 28th In a gap between poor weather, I got out on the 2025 "Colours of Autumn" tour. See the Event Photos page. October 19th The Autumn tree colours are just starting to show now, so I went for a Jeep drive to get some pictures. They aren't at their best yet, so another trip is planned in a week or so. See the Event Photos page. ----- September 2nd Pictures from Ryhope Pumping Station and Derwent Dam have been added to the Event Photos page. ----- August 2nd Pictures from a ride out to the Brasside Ammo Dump and Chest-le-Street Model Flying Club have been added to the Event Photos page. ----- July 11th The Follow Me light box has been modified to fit through the garage door while still fitted. September 28th The Dodges radiator flush was drained, rinsed and repeated, before re-fitting the thermostat and going for a test drive. See the September section of the "Ongoing Work" page and the Event Photos page. September 27th Two test drives later, one not so good and one much better, the Dodge may be working again. September 23rd The cylinder head and accessories were fitted today. See the September section of the "Ongoing Work" page. September 21st The radiator, pulley and fan were refitted and all the fenders and cowl all bolted up today. See the September section of the "Ongoing Work" page. September 19th The Dodge engine has started going back together. See the September section of the "Ongoing Work" page. September 12th Work on the Dodge engine and accessories has continued through the second week of September. It's not too far away from being ready to go back together. See the "Ongoing Work" page. September 3rd After getting back from a week away, I started cleaning up the removed engine parts and painting. August 20th I finally began to pull the Dodge engine apart following the over-heating problem. September 27th Hope had a small run out on the 25th. The trip was to get my daughter from school, followed by a trip to the petrol station to fill a Jerrycan for the Dodge. See the Event Photos page for pictures and a brief report. October 18th With Hope's brakes repaired, it took a week for the weather to be kind enough for a test drive. See the Event Photos page for pictures and a brief report. October 10th Hope suffered a master brake cylinder failure, shortly after leaving home at the start of October. A new seal kit was fitted on the 10th, briefly discussed in the Ongoing Work page. ----- August 27th I took Hope to the Ryhope Pumping Station show on August Bank Holiday Monday. August 21st Hope was back out for a fourth test drive on the 21st, as I planned to take the Ford to the last event of the year over the bank holiday. August 20th I spent a couple of weeks making some improvements to the garage. These included fitting a steel beam for my chain hoist, after loosing that facility after moving house. Not having a better place to cover it, I put the details in the M201's August Ongoing Work page. |

The green over the white canvas was much lighter than it looked in the pot and it has faded more since. It was time for a repaint.
