THE RESISTANCE MUSEUM Outside the museum in the grounds are several examples of allied and German armour, including anti-aircraft guns, field guns and a cast hull Sherman. Also on display there is a range finding unit which would be located with every coastal gun battery. |

| Inside the museum, there were many displays explaining life under occupation, followed by stories of the first small acts of resistance. This moved on to more organised groups and the co-ordinated efforts leading up to the D-Day invasion. | |

| After we left the Resistance Museum, we continued to drive around and found a few pre-historic monuments near Lorient, but we'd had a late start to the day and it was a long drive back so headed back to Dinan. | |
