Front
Half Shaft & Wheel Bearing Bearing Capacity - 3 Ounces The front drive is shown left with the hub puller extracting the drive flange. To the right is the end of the spline on the drive shaft, showing the outer of the to hex wheel bearing nuts. |
Rear
Half Shaft & Wheel Bearing Bearing Capacity - 3 Ounces The rear half shaft is shown here, again with the hex bearing nut visible. Two spare threaded holes in the flange allow two flange bolts to drive the rear shaft out if tight. |
Front & Rear Differentials Change Oil Every 6000 Miles - Grade EP90 |

Front
Differential Capacity - 1 1/4 Quarts This is a front view of the front differential. 'A' is the air vent. 'B' is the fill hole plug and 'C' is the drain plug. |
Rear
Differential Capacity - 1 1/4 Quarts The rear differential is labelled the same as the front with the vent, fill and drain plugs. The picture to the right shows the diff with the oil drained and cover removed. |
Steering Knuckles Grease Every 1000 Miles The steering knuckle has a screwed plug in its rear face ( 'B' ). This allows grease to be added to the joint, filled level to the bottom of the plug. Also visible at the top of the knuckle is the bleed screw ( 'A' ) for the brake line. Replace grease every 6000 miles. |
Master Brake Cylinder Refill Every 1000 Miles Capacity - 1/4 Quarts These two pictures show the location of the master brake cylinder. On the left is the access cover on the drivers side floor panel. The cylinder filler cap can be reached from here. On the right is a view of the cylinder looking down through the left side of the engine bay. Fill to 1/2 inch from top. |
Shock Absorbers Oil Bushes Every 1000 Miles Capacity - Front 5 ounces Capacity - Rear 5 3/4 ounces The rubber bushes should be lubricated with Hydraulic Fluid every 1000 miles to keep the rubber soft. They should be stripped down and the internal fluid replaced every 6000 miles. |
Steering Gearbox Fill Every 1000 Miles Capacity - 1/4 Quarts The steering gearbox has a small screw plug on the forward upper face. Fill until level with hole. |
