Saturday the 7th gave me the opportunity to give the Dodge a check ride before the aircraft museum trip the next day. After the engine work last year, the Dodge had only been on one twelve mile drive in late September. I wanted another drive to make sure there was no over-heating on a drive at least as long as the trip to the aircraft museum.

It rained all Friday, but Saturday was warm and sunny and the roads had dried out. After the five gallons of fuel were added, my daughter and I were ready to go. The tank must have been close to empty as the five gallons hardly moved the fuel gauge!
