Peterlee Parachute Centre - April 6th

It is the Yorkshire Military Vehicle Trust Crank Up event next week, so I really needed to get the Jeep serviced. It's far too cold over the Winter to do the servicing and there isn't really the space in the garage anyway. All of March was too cold and windy, but now we're in April, it's started to warm up.

After spending the morning weeding in the garden, to warm the oil before the oil change, I took the Jeep out for a short run to the Peterlee Parachute Centre. We often see the parachute aircraft circling above our house as it climbs to height.

I stayed to watch three sets of jumps, including a few tandem jumps, then headed home to start the service.

I got the oil changed, but found a fractured brass oil union and also a slightly weeping flexi-hose. Parts are ordered, but it delayed getting anything else done this afternoon.
