IC 348 Star Forming Region

This is a 2 hour image, taken in 5 minute exposures at ISO 800, and for the first time, testing a borrowed Astronomik UHC filter. Stacked with Darks, Flats and Bias frames. It was taken early in the evening when the target was still fairly low.

This region is located in Perseus about 1028 Light Years from Earth. It combines nebulosity and a 2 million year old cluster of about 400 stars. About half of the stars in the cluster have a circumstellar disk, of which 60% are primordial disks. 23-11-14.
