Messier 71 ( NGC 6838 )

M 71 - 25 x 3 minute guided exposures, ISO 400.  Three of the exposures were from the attempt below, and were added to the new stack - 10-06-13.

M 71 - only 3 x 3 minute guided exposures, ISO 400. I took five exposures, but even at 3:00am, the sky was rapidly turning blue with the rising Sun, so two exposures were over exposed - 01-06-13.

12,000 light years away from Earth, and 27 light years across.
