P-47M THUNDERBOLT |

| The P-47 was rebuilt once again, but this time into a 56th Fighter Group aircraft. It moved on from the original owner to someone else, who flew it for a season or so, before selling it on again. It had been a bit used and abused, so that owner started a rebuild, but never finished it before selling it on again. After that, I lost the trail of what happened to it, so it may well be still airworthy somewhere. | |

The pictures above show the aircraft just after completion. The second owner after this rebuild fitted a Zg 45cc engine to it. |
