This was the first model railroad I had built in over 20 years. It was designed as an exhibition layout with most of the track work visible to the front of the layout.

This is a fictional N scale US railroad, near to Area 51 in the Nevada Desert. The railroad was part of the old mine line that was abandoned and reinstated to supply troops and materials to the base in the 1960's. 

Two lines operate, one oval and one figure eight, with a small yard for each one. The layout was sold in early 2006.
