Engine Bay - Drivers Compartment - Vehicle Accessories

Engine as First Found

When first purchased, the engine bay had no work at all, other than new batteries. Many components were covered in their protective coverings from the vehicles period of deep storage. Closer inspection revealed the engine to be a 1944 Willys unit.
All the components coloured red ( although some have green overspray ), were protected with a very open weave fabric, which was coated in a wax or grease. This is VERY sticky and a nightmare to peel off. A petrol rag is then needed to remove the remaining residue.
With most of the protective material removed, suddenly the engine bay looks a little more cared for.
