Fire Extinguisher

This Pyrene Fire Extinguisher and bracket found on Ebay. Since I have long legs and there isn't much space, it was mounted outside so as not to interfere with the clutch pedal.

Jerry Can

I bought a modern style  Jerry Can from Ebay to use, rather than just an accessory. I didn't want an original that may leak. It was gloss green as purchased, but was re-sprayed to match the jeep.

 First Aid Tin

The First Aid Tin from "Soldier of Fortune" is an ex-French unit. It is  wider and taller than standard as the bracket had to be modified slightly to fit. It needs painting with WW2 Markings.

First Aid Tin Bracket

The bottom of the First Aid Tin bracket can be seen behind the dashboard and directly below the hand brake lever. A small strip of steel was added to the strap to lengthen it for the larger tin.

Axe and Shovel

The repro axe & original shovel were from Jeeparts. The straps came from Dallas Autos. It took a few minutes to work out the correct way to fasten them.

Axe and Shovel

Since fitting, both have received some treatment of the wood and metal after spending over ten years on the side of the Jeep.

Drive Flange Puller

After trying to locate a Drive Flange Puller from several Jeep parts suppliers, and failing, I decided to make one myself.

I found some steel tube a little bit bigger diameter than the flange on the drive flange. I had some flat steel bar, a long bolt and I had a tap and die set. All it needed after that was  a welder and a few hour work to see the puller completed.

To the right is the completed puller. The picture below shows the puller in place on the front drive flange, just starting to release the flange. The third picture is the  exposed drive shaft and wheel bearing nut.

Tyre Pump

Bought at Stoneleigh Militaria Fair  '06 was this original Tyre Pump.

Willys Starter handle

Also from Stoneleigh was this Willys Starter handle. Apparently, the Ford handles are different.

Hydraulic Jack

This Hydraulic Jack isn't authentic jeep equipment, but being compact, free, and with a 1 Ton lifting capacity, I couldn't turn it down.

Grease Gun

The Grease Gun was bought from Machine Mart, and looks the same as late war Alemite Grease Guns. It was 1/3 of the price of the Jeeparts Website versions.
