August 19th - Additional Auxiliary Power Supply

I did a little tinkering on the Jeep again this morning. For a while, I've had a 24v to 12v converter to power the satnav when out and about. I had to unplug the satnav if I wanted to charge my phone.

I've now added a second cigar lighter socket, a 12v to 5v USB adapter and a USB hub. So now I can run the satnav and charge several USB devices at the same time. Useful for when I'm camping and have no mains.
