Weekly Vehicle Checks

Check Belts & Accessories for tightness

Check wiring condition

Check engine control linkages

Check tyres for wear, cuts and pressure ( 35psi )

Check springs for sag, broken or shifted leaves, loose or missing rebound clips

Check steering linkages from wheel to tie rods for lubrication and to see if anything is bent or loose

Check prop shafts for loose universal joints, leaks or damage

Check that axel and transfer case vents are clean and secure.

Check for general fluid leaks around the vehicle

With fluids cold, check differentials, transmission and transfer case fluid levels. Check cases for leaks

Check fenders and bumpers are secure and in good condition

Check condition of pintle hook and lubricate hook as required

Check body, and roof canvas for damage

Check for loose wheel and drive flange nuts

Clean dirt from inside body. Keep Sump under fuel tank cleaned of dirt and water

Wash or wipe down vehicle weekly

Check that all vehicle tools are present
