Nurse/Flight Nurse

In June '07, at the 493rd BG Debach show, Lynne managed to buy some HBT coveralls. Since then, she has wanted to badge them up as a nurse. Visiting the many stalls at the 'Wings and Wheels' show in Ursel, Belgium, gave her the opportunity to splash out a little.

What started out as looking for some badges and a Red Cross arm band extended to several more items! These are shown below.

The first buy of the day was a 2nd Lt Bar and the Medical Badge for the collar of the HBT's

That on its own wasn't enough of course, so next came the webbing accessories belt

Once Lynne had the belt, it needed stuff to hang from it. Being the practical type that she is, the first pouch was the right size for her digi camera

The second pouch was for the mobile phone! 'though it actually came with the medical supplies inside

A water bottle and holder was also bought as a practical drinks bottle for the shows

After much searching the stalls, Lynne eventually found a Red Cross armband

Lynne also saw a helmet, but didn't like the weight. We bought it anyway so I could use it as a mould for a light weight Fibre-glass version.

She also got this map case bag to use as a handbag. A Red Cross has been added to it

Along with the helmet, Lynne got these scissors for removing clothing to get to a wound

We will reuse the internals of the helmet and just have the actual helmet in GRP

No!!! we didn't go as far as buying an Ambulance, but it did make a great picture
At Stoneleigh '08, Lynne bought the last couple of items she was after, some Roughout Boots and an HBT Cap.
