Preston Hall Fire Engine and Historic Vehicle Rally - June 28th

I only spent Saturday at the Fire Engine Rally at Preston Hall as I was planning to attend the Aircraft Museum fly in on Sunday. Only three civilian owned military vehicles were in attendance on Saturday, my Jeep, plus DAF and Bedford trucks, but the Army Recruiters were also there with a Land Rover shaped camo net. There were dozens of fire engines there including a wartime Austin fire truck and a 'Green Goddess'.

There was also a huge marquee with classic cars, plus one or two different vehicles such as the Traction Engine and Steam Car.  A motor cycle display team were doing some crazy stunts up a large ramp with every landing potentially eye watering. The fire brigade also did a demo of putting out a car fire and victim recovery from a car wreck.
