Thorpe Abbotts Photo Shoot
June 27th
On June 27th, I took the Jeep to Station 139 - Thorpe Abbotts, the wartime base of the 100th Bomb Group. The purpose of the photo shoot was to recreate the wartime scene below left, the original image I used to copy my Jeep markings from. Getting this shot took about 1/2 hour, but as I had other flying kit with me, and at this historic location, it was an opportunity too good to let pass.
