Two lines operate, one dumbbell shaped and the other a  figure eight with a 60 degree crossing between the two lines. There is a small yard at the front of the layout for the outer line, a three track yard and passing loop in the airbase rail yard, and a two track hidden yard at the rear.

The layout will feature rows of bombers waiting and being cut up for scrap and the smelting plant turning the planes into ingots of aluminium. Railcars were used to take away the ingots and scrap steel components. Frequent trains are seen carrying military vehicles away from the west coast now that an invasion of Japan is no longer needed.
