Sun/Moon Size Comparison

Due to both our position in our orbit around the Sun, and the orbit of the Moon Around the Earth, the Moon is noticeably smaller than the Sun. If there were an eclipse at this point, it would be annular, leaving a ring or sunlight around the Moon as it failed to fully cover the Sun. Both images were from the Celestron Firstscope at 300mm focal length - 25-10-16.
